Your Smile

credit: Oh Boy! Kit by Ams Digi Scraps

Journaling reads:
Your smile can light up a room and your eyes shine brighter than all the stars in the night sky.
I am the luckiest mom in the world because you are in my life.

I can’t believe you are four years old already. The time with you is flying by and before I turn around many more times you will be grown. I want to slow time down. I want to remember every moment and I want you to remember every moment . These are the days that are shaping the person will forever be. May you always know how deeply You are loved

** additional post - just cuz I feel chatty. :)

I'm having so much trouble finding time to scrap these days. The kids are keeping me busy from before sun-up to long after sun-down. I'm hopeful that once D is through with school, and back home in the evenings this summer, I'll have more time to work on pages. Of course, then there will be long summer evenings in the yard with the kids so who knows how it all will pan out. I'll just keep doing the best I can. :)

I love this photo of you - so sweet and innocent. You had taken the recycle bins and lined them up and busied yourself playing train. It was so much fun watching your two-year old mind working. You kept your self busy with those bins for almost an entire hour. Such a busy little guy you were....and still are.

Worms

Credit: Bugs and Mud by Melany Violette (at Simply Clean Digi Scraps)

Kelton is fascinated by worms and after a good rain, he will race out to peek under all the pieces of wood to see what he can find. This week he hit the jackpot! In the photo you are only seeing one-third of the entire worm - it was a long little thing. I was grossed out but he was in little boy heaven!

Spring

Your First Taste of Spring. The flowers were blooming and you were so excited to show them to me. After pointing them out, you plopped yourself down and began investigating them. What a sweet and precious moment.

You Make Me Laugh

credit: Just Kidding by Jan Hosford at www.digitalfreebies.com
Journaling reads:
You are such a funny little guy. From the time you were old enough to understand and follow directions we would say “Make a face!” and you would. You could make the best faces - it never failed to make us laugh. It seemed your only goal was to make us laugh and time after time you would succeed in reaching that goal.

Now that you are a bit older, not a day goes by that you don’t come up with some silly, nonsensical joke just to make people laugh.

You are an amazing child and I am so lucky, so blessed that you are mine.

New Baby

credit: Fresh Air by Dani Mogstad
Journaling reads:
One of the sweetest days in my life was the day we finally were able to bring you home. After five long and frightening days you were placed in our arms - ours to keep forever. You had given us our first test of true parenthood by becoming very sick just hours after being born. Your struggle to health wasn't yet over but you were stable enough to come home. We had long weeks of daily doctor appointments ahead of us but we didn't care - you were finally in our arms and we couldn't have been happier. You were a perfect fit and we held you tight moment after moment after moment.

Our perfect child.
Our perfect son.
Our perfect love.
