Thanks Casey. Now I just need to get Photoshop and I'll be on my way :)
Casey, I see you've done some pages in 8 x 10 and some in 12 x 12. What do you prefer? Do you print them? I can't figure out where to get the 12 x 12 size printed, but I really like the idea of the square page. Do you make paper albums, or just leave them on your computer?
Ahh, so many questions...:)
Carie
Carie,
I set my paper size to 12x12 for ease of working and then when I print them I change the size to 8.5 x 8.5 so they will fit on regular sized photo paper.
I sometimes will do 8.5 x 11 which then fits on the regular photo paper.
I moved to working with the bigger sized because it's so much easier to create a layout (LO) on it as opposed to the 8.5 x 11 though I do go back and forth depending on my mood. :)
I print out the pages and slide them into page protectors and add them to my binder of pages. It's a hodge podge of sizes but I've never had anyone mention it while they flipped through the book.
My ultimate goal is to create a photo book for the kids. I hvaen't decided if I will print out the pages and attach them to the a book or if I will send them to a place like winkflash or mypublisher.com and have them printed in a book.
